About Pinnacle Peak Pinnacle Peak is one of the most historic and celebrated areas of North Scottsdale.  First developed in the 1970’s, development pioneers Jerry and Florence Nelson were fierce in their dedication to mix successful residential communities with environmentally sensitive land use and natural open space.  Starting with the Troon areas, Pinnacle Peak today is home to many golf and non-golf communities including Los Gatos, Happy Valley Ranch, Pinnacle Peak Estates and more.  The beauty of the area along with the many resorts, public and private golf courses, first class dining, shopping, etc… make this an ideal area for full and part-time residents and seasonal rentals.   Pinnacle Peak Country Club Long considered “The Best Kept Secret in the Valley” is the Pinnacle Peak Country Club, a distinct golf and country club community.  The 7030 yard Dick Turner design course features tree-lined, lush fairways (unlike the many desert courses in the area) and Bentgrass greens along with the dramatic Pinnacle Peak views.  The course is designed for all ages and abilities, easy to walk and has expansive Practice Facilities. The architecturally award-winning clubhouse has a warm and elegant atmosphere.  Both fine and casual dining are available along with the 19th Hole Cocktail Lounge.  Other features include attended men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, a fitness center with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, golf shop, lighted tennis courts and a heated lap pool. Membership at Pinnacle Peak is limited to 325 family or single memberships.  Club membership is not tied to property ownership.  Memberships are priced at $30,000 (cash) or $40,000 with an $8000 deposit with the balance due at the end of the first year or divided into annual installments over the next 4 years.  Monthly dues vary based on member age from $410 - $750.  Social memberships are available for a $1000 initiation fee and monthly dues of $362.50.

Arizona Silverado Arizona Silverado was constructed in 1998-2000 by KB Home.  The community features 201 homes ranging from approximately 1,200 square foot to 2,400 square foot with 2-5 bedrooms.  The community features a playground, ramada, and two large grassy retention areas.  Spring and fall community social events and holiday walks also are planned for homeowners in Arizona Silverado.  Just north of Grayhawk, Arizona Silverado is convenient to businesses and restaurants. Home prices are currently between $200k - $400ks.

  Los Portones A beautiful community located in North Scottsdale is Los Portones. This small gated community contains single family homes that range in size from approximately 1400 to 2200 square feet. Built by Dave Brown Builders in the early 1990s, the community also has a heated community pool and spa.  This great location allows residents to enjoy a beautiful mountain and desert setting all while still having easy access to the city.  Homes are priced between $200k - $400k.

Premiere at Pinnacle Peak Premiere at Pinnacle Peak is a beautiful residential community of single family homes, located within the gated, master planned community of Los Portones in North Scottsdale.   Built in the early 1990s by Pulte Homes, floor plans range in size from 1200 – 2500 square feet.  Premiere at Pinnacle Peak presents an opportunity to live in harmony with the Sonoran Desert while enjoying the nearby city life. Homes are priced between $200k - $400k.

Talara Talara is a beautiful single family community also located within the gated master plan community of Los Portones in Northeast Scottsdale.  Built by Coventry Homes in the early 1990s, the 3 -5 bedroom floor plans range in size from 2075 square feet to over 3800.  Curving streets, cul-de-sac and walking paths give the area a custom feel.  Homes are priced from the mid $400k to the $600ks.

La Vida La Vida is a community offering both single family and patio home living.  Started in the 1980s, the area continued developing through the mid 90’s with home sizes ranging from 1650 to over 3000 square feet.  The community offers residents a community pool and spa, clubhouse, private park and hiking/biking trails.  Homes are priced from the mid $300k to high $400k.

La Vista La Vista was developed by DR Horton in the early 2000s with 3 -5 bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 2000 to over 3200 square feet.  This gated, family friendly community also has a beautiful park with children’s playground.  Prices start in the $500ks.

Pinnacle Reserve and Pinnacle Reserve East Pinnacle Reserve and Pinnacle Reserve East are dedicated to creating a comfortable, neighborly environment for its residents while maintaining as much of the surrounding natural desert beauty as possible.  The Paradise Valley School District is a big + for families. Ryland and Trend Homes developed the Pinnacle Reserve community in the late 1990s with homes from 1500 to 2450 square feet.  It remains one of the most affordable single family home communities in the Pinnacle Peak area with homes in the $300 - $400ks. Pinnacle Reserve East is a premium single family home community with a mix of TW Lewis semi-custom homes and customs.  Homes range in size from 2900 to over 5000 square feet.  The homes all sit on large lots, many backing to the Rawhide wash with outstanding desert and mountain views.  Home prices range from $600k - $900ks.

Vistana Vistaña is a community of 119 UDC/Continental semi-custom homes as well as custom homes.   The mix of one and two story single family homes have 3 -5 bedrooms and range in size from 2500 to over 4100 square feet.  This area is situated to provide great Pinnacle Peak as well as McDowell Mountain views.  Prices range from the $500ks to over $800k.

  Santa Catalina Estates Santa Catalina Estates is an exclusive community that offers breathtaking mountain and city light views. The luxury custom homes in the community all sit on lots close to an acre or larger with square footage ranging up to 7000 square feet+.   All of these homes have both indoor and outdoor living space that is spectacular!  Prices range from the low – mid $1 million to over $2 million.

Sonoran Hills Located in the Pinnacle Peak Corridor, Sonoran Hills offers many different opportunities to home buyers.  Homes include entry level homes built in the late 90’s by Richmond American starting in the $300ks up to over a $1 million for a 5000 square foot + custom home on over an acre lot.

The Pinnacle The Pinnacle, an elegant community of courtyard patio homes, is tucked away just steps from Pinnacle Peak Country Club.The forty-five homes in this gated community surround a meditation garden and walking park.  Designed by award winning architect Gordon Rogers, the spacious two to five bedroom designs (some with private guest casitas) provide luxury and privacy.  Ranging in size from 1500 to over 3000 square feet, homes are currently selling between $500k and $700k.

Pinnacle Paradise Pinnacle Paradise sits off Pinnacle Peak Road, across from Pinnacle Peak Country Club.  The development consists of approximately 70 custom home sites, all of at least 1 acre.  This gated community of luxurious, private homes range in size from 2700 to over 5000 square feet.  Vacant land is still available to build your own custom dream home.  Prices range from the $700k to over $1,500,000.

Happy Valley Ranch Happy Valley Ranch is a carefully designed custom home community.  Varied architecture reflects the taste and individuality of the residents who strive to maintain and preserve the natural Sonoran desert setting.  All single-story homes, the custom homes range in size from 2500 to well over 4000 square feet and all sit on at least a ½ acre lot.  This enjoyable neighborhood has scheduled annual events, social gatherings and community projects.  Prices currently start in the $700ks to well over $1 million.

Tamarron Tamarron is a small but spacious area off of Happy Valley Road and Pima.  Half acre lots are the minimum for these elegant custom homes.  The subdivision was developed in the early 90’s with homes continuing to be built ever since or vacant land.  Home prices vary along with the size/age of the custom homes.

Pinnacle Peak Estates Pinnacle Peak Estates is yet another custom home area in North Scottsdale.  Home styles are unique and large lots with natural area open space abound.  Started in the early 90’s, the area is seeing many renovation projects of existing properties.  With 255 homes, square footage varies along with pricing – homes are currently selling between the high $500k to well over $1 million.

Los Gatos Los Gatos is a gated neighborhood in North Scottsdale, just south of Pinnacle Peak Country Club. It is known for its large lots and wide open spaces between homes. Construction on the custom homes in Los Gatos began in 1972 and was completed in 2007.  The Santa Fe style properties range in size from 2500 to over 6000 square feet.  The properties are on 1-3 acre lots that provide exceptional privacy for owners.  Some of the properties are zoned with horse privileges.  Incredible mountain views and an old west flair can be found in this quaint community.

Santuario The gated community of Santuariois another great area in the 85255 zip code and the Paradise Valley School District.  With only 16 lots in the neighborhood, all on large lots, privacy abounds, with awesome mountain and desert views.  The semi-custom 4 – 6 bedroom homes, built by DR Horton,  include some floor plans at over 5900 square feet.  All homes are single level but include basements.  Homes are now priced over $1 million.

Vista Monterey Vista Monterey is an upscale, gated community of single family homes in North Scottsdale. Built by Monterey Homes in the early 2000s, the stately family friendly homes are sized from 3900 to over 5500 square feet.  All homes are situated on large lots with sprawling backyards and spectacular views.  Homes are priced at over $1 million.

Tierra Bella Tierra Bella is another small, private gated community with only 31 residences.  Built in the late 1990s by Monterey Homes, the semi-custom floor plans range from 2900 to over 4200 square feet.  All homes are built on large lots with expansive back yard living areas.  Home prices are in the $700 - $800k range.

Desierto Vida The gated community of Desierto Vida was built in the late 1990’s by Monterey Homes.  The 3 – 5 bedroom homes range in size from 2800 to over 5200 square feet.  The small neighborhood of homes are all built on spacious acre + lots with views.

Bocara Bocara is North Scottsdale's latest luxury new home community by Camelot Homes and is currently under construction with pre-sales just beginning. This gated community with just 50 home sites sized from 11,000 - 14,000+ square feet features beautiful mountain and city light views and over 39% open space.   Three single story floor plans are offered from 3100 to over 4100 square feet with 3 – 5 bedrooms.  Other options include a guest casita, lofts or a fourth car garage.  A unique community garden will allow neighbors to join together to grow their own herbs and vegetables.  Homes prices start at $739,000.
